For Facilitators

Joining the GDST as a Facilitator Partner means making a public commitment to support the implementation of the GDST Standard. Companies joining in the higher levels of partnership will be those willing to make the strongest commitments and take concrete steps towards developing Standard setting, audit, certification, training, benchmarking services or taking other actions that facilitate the implementation of the Standard.

Joining the GDST as a facilitator Partner means you will:

  • Promote digital seafood traceability in support of food safety, social and environmental responsibility in supply chains.
  • Participate in influential industry-stakeholder discussions.
  • Evolve the Standard setting, audit, certification, benchmarking and training processes to include how implementation of the GDST Standard and digital traceability may support the future of these processes.
  • Strengthen technical knowledge and capacities.
  • Raise the profile of your work on supply chain / traceability issues with industry, governments, and civil society.
  • Accelerate progress towards universal adoption of traceability within seafood supply chains.
