The GDST standards and materials contain the normative standards and supporting documentation for implementation across supply chain managers, safety and quality, and IT staff. To ease and facilitate technical implementation, the GDST secretariat has created a GitHub to provide developers and others specific need-to-know information. GitHub allows for requests for additional documentation as well.
The GitHub documents scenarios outside the scope of the GDST Standards and other explanatory information. The GDST realized that to document and standardize every use case of the GDST would be cumbersome, inefficient, and impractical. To both provide flexibility, but also unify approaches to using the GDST standards, the GDST has created this space to document scenarios and use cases that coincide with the GDST, such as regulatory compliance, critical tracking events contingencies, and certification requirements.
