The GDST is staffed by a small team of full and part-timers, with a cadre of expert consultants, under the leadership of Executive Director, Gregory V. Brown. Our team brings together decades of experience in building and running seafood supply chain businesses, consumer-facing retail, international standards and certification. GDST staff work with global NGOs and regionally-focused stakeholders, covering the Americas, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Asia and the Pacific.
The GDST Secretariat Team reports directly to the GDST Foundation Management Board, which is legally liable and jointly responsible for the execution of all GDST Foundation business. The Management Board reports directly to the GDST Foundation Supervisory Board, which provides the policy guidance to and governance/oversight of the Management Board.
