For NGOs & Other Stakeholders

Joining the GDST as a Stakeholder Partner means making a public commitment to support the implementation of the GDST Standard. Organizations joining in the higher levels of partnership will be those willing to make the strongest commitments to develop programs or take other actions that facilitate the implementation of the Standard.

Joining the GDST as a Stakeholder Partner means you will:

  • Promote seafood traceability in support of social and environmental responsibility in supply chains.
  • Participate in influential industry-stakeholder discussions.
  • Evolve the Standard through the Dialogue process.
  • Strengthen technical knowledge and capacities.
  • Raise the profile of your work on supply chain / traceability issues with industry, governments, and civil society.
  • Accelerate progress towards universal adoption of traceability within seafood supply chains.
